The Cone

Pogi had gotten neutered and he had to have the cone so he didn't accidentally open his stitches. Poor little guy..

Kokoro Kara Meeting -- Ice cream galore

So at one of our latest meetings, we gave a huge surprise to our members! We had gotten cookies and ice creams to give them pizookies.

The ones that I had gotten were matcha green tea ice cream and  azuki red bean ice cream..hehehe with sugar cookies..

Ring ring

Haha! That was lame. Sorry guys. Well, back when I first got into making 3D things, I started tearing plastic rings that I got from those vending machines and had my own take on them.

So I pieced together my own little design of this resin bunny charm my best friend Claudia gave to me in elementary school with the original heart jewel (thing) that was first on the ring. Then I thought it necessary to add one of my goofy little polymer clay cakes that I made when I was first getting used to working with polymer clay.

Not too shabby right?

Thrift Store Adventures

Nearby Bianca's house is a thrift store called Sav-More thrift and so we decided we were going to go inside and just kind of wander around! In the end we bought a ton of clothes and in the end I was too lazy to take a picture of all of them...but I'll get to it when I finish washing all my clothes in case any of them are in there.

Errands with the family

We had agreed to help out our grandma getting some stuff put away and all and the beauty behind it was that not only was it fun and adventurous to go places we usually don't (yes trader joes is somewhere we don't usually go), she took us out for lunch!

Forgetful...

Remember way back when I mentioned the nengajyo contest?

First place is Jasmine Zhao

Second place we have Michaela Platt

New Layout!

Hey guys! I kind of adjusted the layout by a tad bit. I added in related posts and popular posts while fixing some of the ways other gadgets added on. So tell me, do you like the before (above) or the after (below) better?

Anne Allan's Photoshoot

Remember when I mentioned how Anne wanted me to make her a circlet? She needed it for one of her photo shoots for her photography class. They were just STUNNING at the photo gallery on June 11th.

Here we have Leia Chang modeling as Goddess of War.

Stunning don't you agree? You should definitely check out the rest of her photos! (If possible) You go girls!

Upcycle Tie Dye

Back when we had our tie-dye unit for art, I wanted to make one of all the colors with one of my white tank tops. Unfortunately, I didn't like how it came out (mostly my fault though...but oh well!). So what happened was that I turned the t-shirt into strips and then turned it into a necklace to wear. Eventually I'll figure out what I can do with the rest of them. Eventually...

Shopping + Waffle Addictions

I love shopping with my sister at the store!

My Shopping Adventures

So I rarely manage to get out of the house.. and shopping is one of the few ways we go! Although we shop for food, we stop by stores every now and then..

For the most part, I love this movie.

Ditzy wire working

So forever ago, I had recently bought some wire from Walmart and wanted to make something out of it. Using the pliers my mom had, I goofed around and made this "Love You" ring thing. I wouldn't necessarily call it a ring...mostly because it goes around 3 fingers instead of just 1. Oh well, it was pretty interesting to fiddle around with!

Aluminum Foil at Work

So way back when, Cathy Huang, and 8th grader made me a rabbit out of aluminum foil.

She does a fairly great job at what she does and gets what she was thinking of making.

Props to her because not only is she interesting to be around and talk to, she's got a knack for aluminum foil crafting too.

California Pizza Kitchen

Did I ever mention how forever ago, my mom took us all to eat at CPK? It's a fairly good place...and thankfully I got a virgin cocktail for this little celebration of my birth.

The food was great, the service was very nice (although there were some moments that could have been done without) and my siblings were as goofy as always.

But seriously! The food was great.

(Also these pictures are actually from my mom because my mom is kind of obsessed.)

But I still love her anyway..

I love her enough to smile and do everything I can for her, regardless of what happens.

But that's also because at the end of the day, I get to be a huge goofball without her noticing.

DecoDen Party craze!

During the summer, Kevin and the alumni college gang wanted to have a decoden party and so we had it over at my place! It was such a fun time and it was really interesting to see everyone's pieces.

Kimbra -- Two way street

Have you guys ever heard of this really awesome United Kingdom singer named Kimbra? She's flawless and beautiful in both looks and personality. The video above is the official music video for her song Two way street and below are some pictures of her that I drew.

Custom Mouse pad

So forever ago, Leonard had asked me to make him a mouse pad. Once he gave me the mouse pad to work on, I w completely didn't know what I was going to do. So the day after school ends, I somehow managed to get to it.

I used mostly acrylic paints to get the look and then spray painted some silver.

It's a cat and a fish if you couldn't tell from the picture.

Hell yes textures.

Look at that texture.

Also, the gemini (partial) on the fish shadow and the fact that it took me 3 hours. I then finished it off by putting modpodge.

Recycled wrapper brooch + Update

Hey everyone! Sorry for not keeping my blog posts daily or even consistent. I probably made people wonder if I was stuck in some place with no internet. Well...no. I've been so preoccupied with grades and assignments all this time. When I wasn't, I was doing my favorite things: art and extra curricular activities! I'll try to keep posts a little...steadier now!

Now what I have here is a brooch I made for Mrs. Ghandi's birthday. I couldn't have done it without my friend Maddie folding the flowers out of a tinfoil wrapper.

The materials used for this was the tinfoil wrapper flowers that Maddie folded. Then the wooden circle was spray painted.

Brown felt and some striped gold and silver scrap booking paper (a wedding design, very beautiful actually)!

Then the little swirl of rose colored wire and some of those little necklaces that were given out to nominees for the little 8th grade social event. (For those that don't know what 8th grade social is, it's basically a dance specifically for 8th graders as a little graduation gift.) And then lastly the pin for the back!

It's actually very nice, believe it or not.

Maddie's Flowers

Remember when I mentioned the brooch and about how Maddie folded them out of some aluminum foil wrappers?

Here are a couple of close ups.

Solar Dyed Pillow!

This was last year's end of the year comp final. What happened was that the pillows were made for Reis and myself. I made one for him and he did the same for me.
