Class 302

I'm not a huge fan in particular of boba or anything of that sort, but my brother kept insisting that we go to class 302 and I guess I'll just have to admit that while I would definitely not trust the taste of their coffees, their boba isn't half bad...

Snake!

So on some of the first couple of days, nothing much was really happening at school...but in ceramics, we got our hands on some porcelain and we were told to be creative...or something along those lines...

So..snake?

Disney's Tsum Tsum !! [feat. Sanrio pillows]

Have you guys heard of one of the cutest things that Disney had put out here in America yet?

They're called "Tsum Tsum"s and they're absolutely adorable. There's a game about them (it's like any connect the dots/matching bubble-like game that there is) too on the LINE application.

They're just the cutest things and are used and kept around for stacking purposes! The designs are simple, but are incredibly adorable. Check out this video:

And if you're interested in seeing more about these cutie pies, just follow through the read more!

Unfortunate events

The other day, my mom had tried her best to help me out by doing my laundry, but because of a lot of problems, I do my laundry in a specific way using very specific detergents and the like...but she tried her best to help me out..it's just she also threw in some of my cosplays in the wash too. I won't be showing you any of the actual cosplays because that'll make me cry like a baby...but I hope this felted Jiji will be enough to make you feel and understand my pain a little better..

Poppin' Cookin' Candy Sushi

Cheryl Mae had brought one of those famous poppin' cookin' candy sets to school and we all took the time to try it out one fine day afterschool.

To be completely honest with you, it looked very, very easy....but then it turns out..

Everything was in Japanese. Because of that, it took so much energy out of Sophia and I because we spent a lot of time trying to translate the Japanese hiragana to English...and because we hadn't learned specific words yet...it was troublesome and INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING. But thank god for Tony because he managed to figure out because none of us used our brains to look for an English translation of this Poppin' Cookin' Candy Sushi set online.

But this thing. This fake tuna sushi and the roe sushi and the egg sushi....it's all ridiculously awful in flavor. Ms. Machado constantly walked past us laughing and wondering why a bunch of small children were gathered in a part of the hallway screaming and crying in agony and despair because it's school and it was the second day of school, what could have gone wrong at this point?

Well, long story longer, she laughed at us and the majority of us (there was about 10 of us trying to figure out this thing before Tony pulled out the English instructions), after we finished making the gummy sushi parts, started crying out in complete pain and despair because after all this hard work...the sushi tasted like crap. I definitely would not recommend it...but we all joined together and spent so much time and effort on it and then Cheryl Mae spend her hard earned money on it and so....in the end....we all left school that day with an awful taste in our mouths from an overdose in artificial flavoring and tears in our eyes from crying and cracking up because we had such a hard time figuring it out and just threw it at each other to (not literally threw) get everyone who helped taste it at least once to understand how much time was wasted because of this ridiculous thing.

Back to School & End of Summer ** things and stuff

This post is less so much of an explanation or anything, it's more so a picture filled post because of the post that will be posting later today! Nonetheless, these are all the little things and gifts that I'd gotten from my friends and teachers when I came back to school. I was really happy to get everything and I'm definitely happy about having everything because I know that they will be put and be used to make great things! Thank you everyone!!

Droppin' By

I forgot to post these with the pictures that I had posted on Thursday, but that's alright! These are just some pictures and me saying some chit chat about the wonderful little things that Bianca and Reis dropped by sometime during July.

Sunglasses!!

Just a little break from everything.

Also, Heather is just the cutest isn't she?

Mochido ( ˘ ³˘)❤ Mochi Donuts

So remember when I mentioned how Lorenzo had came and picked up the computer screen to gut it? When he dropped by to visit, he was just so sweet and brought me back some Mochi donuts from Mochido!

Mochi cream (or some place with a name like that) at Mitsuwa has a stock of Mochido donuts that you can buy and each donut is around $3 or so for just one and is $13 for a box filled with each different flavor.

The ones that he had brought were Cafe au lait, matcha, and raspberry custard! They're absolutely delicious and if you're interested in finding out more about them, check out this site here:

Well, That's all there is for this post! Anything beyond this is just pictures as usual.

** Harvest Moon Basket **

As I mentioned in the previous post that I put up today, this is a shot from way back in July of the bag that I kept with me as we wandered! Filled with the official Harvest Moon:A tale of two towns game packaging for the DS and the game in my DSi, my recognition (?) thank you card from the Natsume company that I had received for entering in their fanart contest way back when, and my wonderful alpaca plush that I had received from Omar way back when!

Aradia Megido Horns (Aluminum base)

Hey guys! So I had absolutely no idea that I never posted some pictures from back in July because my camera's SD card had a malfunction and I was too invested in saving up for a new one (that I never actually bought in the end because I had to pay off a lot of debt) to blog about it.

These are the horn's base!

They're made out of just aluminum foil pressed together over and over again and are actually really good when it comes to retaining their shape.

They're not the same yet in the picture, I was still working on the left horn still..but in the grand scheme of things..

They were pretty cool!

First Day of School..

So it's officially my first year as a senior here at Whitney High School and I'm honestly terrified to see how things play out.

Although the first day of school wasn't so bad. It wasn't just the usual talking about classes and requirements and syllabus-speak. It was also fairly fun as I got to play around a bit in the photography class testing things out here and there. The above is just some quick thing that we threw together for one of our test pieces for photog (solar print dyeing).

And also, because Melissa also has a free seventh again this year (she's taking swim, but I'm still counting it as a free seventh), she often goes out to buy food and things and she brought me back a strawberry cronut!

Takenoko ◖㈠ ω ㈠◗

My cousins had invited us over for a party a while back before school started and because we're all the same, we prefer playing games more than mingling with relatives. This time around, my cousin showed us this cute new game that he'd bought called Takenoko!

TV Head progress!!

So one of the goals that I and other fellow artists/cosplayers have been trying to get accomplished is to make a TV head or something like that. Although I was a huge baby and I was too scared to really tinker and mess with everything inside and I'm a bigger baby because I asked Lorenzo to gut it for me because I'm just a huge baby.

Bowling, Pizza, and freaky plush animals..?

We bowl and we eat. That's just how we do things here.

The pizza we'd gotten was the all meat one I believe? Sausage and bacon and pepperoni...just perfection in a nutshell.

And to perfectly end this post, my brother kept mentioning how this duck in one of the vending machines looked like the duck from Five Nights at Freddy's and I wanted to smack him.

Walmart Adventures,,

I'm not really ashamed to post pictures of underwear, especially if they're ones that I've bought myself, because really...these are pretty cute and fit me fairly well. Definitely worth the few minutes of feeling ashamed for sharing with the world about what kind of underwear I get.

And on another note... I should probably invest in a rotary cutting set.

Hair Chalk & New Days

Crazy hair day?

I guess it's just an excuse to use the Hot Hues hair chalk...

I had also got called up to the office to have a little talk with Lisa and she had given me this nice backpack!

Animal Crossing ✿

Hey guys! So lately, because I don't actually have a 3DS or anything cool or up to date, I've been having fun playing harvest moon and animal crossing on the gamecube. I haven't actually played the game since we'd gotten the gamecube from John. I'm really happy though that I'm finally taking the time to play and enjoy the game in comparison to other times. ((While the 3DS is still mentioned, I have to admit, I was so happy about playing the Phoenix Wright game! It's great and absolutely amazing!!))

My name is the usual, "Rika", and the name of the town was because my brother told me to pick something and the first thing that came to my head was coffee. I had no idea as to what I was doing at the time...I also accidentally wrote the time incorrectly....my bad...

Here's what the case looks like if any of you were wondering.

I'm really happy that John had lent us the gamecube and the games he had! It's still really fun to play and while it's old, it's still as enjoyable as ever.
