Floral Headgear

A little while ago (can you tell that I'm behind on my posts?), I had decided to make something using the fake flowers that I had bought a while back. I've been meaning to use them for something like a flower crown or something like some custom mickey mouse ears. Interested in what I'm talking about? But here's what you need: 

Some wire (I used floral wire) 

A couple of fake flowers 

Reliable, heavy duty pliers 

(not necessary) hot glue gun

& maybe a cute companion to keep you company while you scream about how tedious all of this is. 

I didn't actually take in progress pictures of the progress, but basically, I had cut the flowers off and I had arranged them into a design that I thought was appropriate. 

You can cut all the flowers off of the stem or you can use the stem as the base to work upon on. Then I had wrapped the flowers in place using the floral wire.. Although the flowers will not stay completely in place, so I had decided to use hot glue to keep it in place.

So a long way back, I had gone to visit the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSULB because my sister had told us to go there and I had never gotten around to showing/posting the pictures because it was a few years back. Not all days are good days..but smoothies help

I guess to put it simply, things have been rather hard lately. Grades have been rough and rather low and there's been a lot of drama around and with the people I know. Sometimes, these things just can't be helped and I really wish they could...but the best that I could do and get as a pick me up is a couple of smoothies after a nice concert. 

Thank goodness.

Just one of those days...

It's been one of those slow days...but it can't be helped y'know? 

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So I know that this is incredibly late, but a little while ago, my sister had ordered some of the special st. patrick's day bagels for her work but it was a little too early for her to pick it up and so she had to just go ahead to work without them. Later, picking up the food, she decided we were going to get the luxury of eating all of them (which isn't exactly what I'd call a problem). 

But we wound up with so many bagels we could barely keep them all in our fridge!

But don't get me wrong, the food is delicious and the irish cream is the most wonderful cherry on top!

I just hope this doesn't make me feel any negative feelings for bagels in the future though...I love cassidy's corner....

Ever After High: Cerise Hood (Hat-tastic Party Doll)

Hey guys! So guess who finally turned her points on Instagc into an amazon giftcard?? This girl! Me!! And can you guys guess what I decided on doing with that amazon giftcard because I'm spoiled and I really wanted something..? Yes, I finally bought a Cerise Hood Ever After High doll.

The package came as shown above.

The back of the packaging of Cerise's box is just the cutest thing ever. It's like an event page from Facebook, but fixed to fit the Ever After High feel.

Weaving Beginnings & Woven Necklace

Hey guys, I know that I've been slacking these past few days on my posts but things have been rather hectic with the band festival and practicing all day everyday.. but I hope that this post makes up for it! 

But more recently I had an assignment to do some weaving! But I had to learn the basics of weaving, which meant that I should probably use a regular loom and all that fun stuff. Here's the warp that I'm getting ready to try to do!

And then we can actually start the weaving process.

I love taking pictures of the sky and the sun and the clouds. I'm not sure why...it just feels so dream-like. Don't you agree?

Feeling very..cat today..?

SO a little while back, I had made this super cute ceramic plate in the shape of a cat's head and then glazed it pure black to have a silhouette look to it. I personally love how it turned out and decided to sell it to my old AP lang teacher because she loves cats just as much as I do.

And while we're on the topic of cats, I'll be posting some of the shots that I had taken of my outfit that day! I rarely ever post pictures of my outfit coordination/outfit of the day here on this blog, the majority of that happens on perfumepleasures.blogspot.com but I was really feeling it...so here!

Ever After High: Spring Unsprung!

Ugh.. Okay. So for the record, I am a complete loser who is in love with two things. Ever after high for one, and tangible things being the other.



And more recently, I had the luxury to watch Ever After High's newest movie Spring Unsprung on Netflix! I was speechless and I had fallen madly in love with all of the designs. I think sometime soon, I'll be cosplaying as Cerise because she's...she's perfection. 

I'm not going to say anything though because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it! I was in love with how Apple and the rest of them were presented in the movie. God, I just love this show so much... Anything beyond the read more will just be pictures and shots of Cerise that I will be cosplaying at some point in my life!
