Geometry Poster

For my Geometry class, we had to make a poster based on the Conditional, Inverse, Contrapositive, and the   Converse. It required words and you had to use advertisements from magazines to help you. Though I took it a step too far. With 11 to 12 hours of hard work all on my own I finished my poster.Without the words, my project came out like this.

Though you can see my mistakes, I tried my hardest on this assignment. It was more fun than it was work, so  in the end it came out nicely.

and lastly, a couple of foods with faces! Takoyaki, chocolate pudding, and melon pan.

San Francisco 2012

In October, the High school Band for Gretchen Whitney High School went to San Francisco for the Foothill band review. We stayed in Pleasanton, California and we had a blast during the whole trip.

Holiday!Stuck

Holiday!Stuck is a Homestuck meetup that took place in Modjeska Park in Anaheim, California. It was a lovely meetup and the people there were fabulous. Though, we're all still getting used to talking outside of our comfort zone. It was on Saturday, December 15th, 2012.

I went with Moses! We've been working on stickers and I had this little space that said "Jane's Workshop" as I gave away stickers and coloring pages again.

Though it was SUPER cold! We decided to sit under a tree with the sunlight directed towards us...

And if we didn't get the picture, I went to the meetup as a Christmas styled Jane Crocker!

The meetup was fairly large too..

Then here we have the cookies that Moses and I shared because I was so happy that I found my friend Sara and gave her her birthday gift! She was so happy, she went as a beautiful Calliope and gave me the loveliest hug anyone could ever give you. It was just fantastic! Sadly, Cat caught my tongue and I couldn't get the courage to ask to take a picture with her!

another goofy picture of Moses...

Ah! Then I found April through all the silly what not. She went as a sweet winter Jane. Michelle came later also as a Jane. Though I felt so terrible because her wig was killing her..

Out of nowhere...came this man who was selling Cotton Candy. Though one for $3 is more than expensive and a dollar less than what they sell at Disneyland or California Adventure...it was well worth it because it was swell for the time.

Then Cotton Candy pairs with lollipops! I found, who I know as Gillyhoo. She's a sweetheart that went as a cutesy Roxy Lalonde. So precious! We spent a good amount of time together and her little davesprite on her phone kept attacking her neck. It was the silliest thing! But much love.

Cupcakes!

My attempt at taking a picture of Moses again...

Then a picture of me and Oliver! Oliver went as a Gamzee. The most perfect Gamzee there is of course.

Gifts that we got (excluding a Rufioh that I had already given to Elise).

For more pictures, Sara had took a TON. Click here to view. Also, a shoutout to the sweetheart Roxy who also shouted at Moses and I when we were hugging for warmth in the sun. "MAMA ROXY'S OTP"

Polymer Clay Pt. 1

I had begun working with Polymer clay in February of 2012. Using Fimo, Sculpey and Sculpey III alike.

My first item that I had made was these very small 'knitting needles' that I made for Moses's birthday last year. They're based off of Rose Lalonde (Homestuck)'s needles that she used as her weapon. I used chopsticks as a base, polymer clay for the skulls alike, acrylic paint, and lastly duct tape.

This little guy is a shiba inu that I made for Kevin's birthday. Now this little guy was actually the first time I've ever even touched polymer clay. I had no idea as to what I was doing, not one single bit. I used acrylic paints and polymer clay and hot glued it to construction paper and then had it framed. In the end, he ended up getting it framed in his home by his grandma. It's embarrassing, but kind of heart warming too.

Julep Nail polish

So way back when, my sister had gotten a free box from Julep and got these colors (sadly I forgot to take note of their name colors beforehand).

They're very nice colors and although they are a tad bit too watery (such as the yellow and the purple), I wouldn't mind using them more often if I became more interested in painting my nails!

Across the street

Do not talk to me
Do not look at me
Do not think of me
Do not mock me

The way I dress does not volunteer myself
to vulgar words and whatever else
The kindness for my dog does not allow
you access to harass me about yourself
The body I own does not confess
that I want you to look up and down as if I were wearing a prom dress

Please take a step back and leave me alone
Please don't let me bring out the baseball bat that I own

Do not try to show me how "big" you are
Do not try to enlighten me about how you are a star

I could care less about you if I were not vulnerable
Though I am human, I am not any type of fucking animal
Leave me alone before I shout and scream
People like you are the kind that I kill in my dreams.

Anne Allan Appreciation

To my beloved friend, Anne Allan. A year older than I am but much love to her in total.

I am

Like Looking for Home
I lie on my Death Bed Throne
I am Wasted Flesh.

Wrapper Flower

For a Christmas gift for my friend Bernice, I made her a flower out of a See's Candy Bar wrapper she gave me.

Common Sense

You turn to me and ask sweetly,
"Honey, will you stay by me?"
I cocked my head to the side and said,
"There's nothing about my love for you to fret."
You smiled, real big and held me close,
telling me that you love me the most.
Sparks fly and songs went off,
as I took a knife and stabbed your back,
my face bearing a large grin, and then a scoff.
I looked down at my beloved bleeding before me,
I looked down at this steaming blood stuck to me,
I kissed your forehead and said with a giggle,
"There has been no love from the day you compared me to a nickel."

Movies and Monopoly

It's December 23rd and it's night time and what're we doing? Watching Hope Springs (2012) and playing monopoly with the family.

My mom keeps being such a child, throwing dice all over the place and complaining. Though I'd have to say, it's so fun to be with the family. It's so interesting to be here after goofing around with the family at Denny's too.

Also, I'll post a review about Hope Springs after we finish watching it.

Trigger

Second in line
Only to pass the time
Out of place, Out of space
Go back to the end of the line
Frustration or Adoration
Give it up, we can all see it
I'm nothing but an obligation.

Only have but one job to do
With one mess up, it's done, it's through
Like taking the wrong turn at an intersection
What happens next determines on how much trust you've spent
Yellow light, just less than an accessory for "safety"
If you fast forward, you'll miss the ending.

Pick one, either or any
Choose as if there is such a thing as a "personality"
Can't call shotgun and can't be the one
Only left at home, to be left all alone.
This is our equal distribution.

Climb up the ladder, set yourself higher
There upstairs, it's way brighter
Slip a step, back to square one
even though the birds have already sung
Back when it was for fun
Remember when we were the ones we loved?
Only to ache for the position.

Now pause the tape.
Reset, preset, custom made
red rose, white rose
make a colorful bouquet
ready to hand, give it to the first in line
the face in your head, the voice in your ear
you count one, two, one, two
You still have time.

Week one and Week two
Sleep now or sleep soon
Calendar checkup
Clock numbers mixed up
Photographs of bright memories scattered
The duty at your feet mattered.

Now with this song to be sung
Put it on repeat
You have to be on your feet
Don't miss a single beat
Or the Obligation is gone.

Though there is none that sings along
Or slips their fingers through
Because second in place but back of the line
gone with the time and lost in the sunshine
Flip of a quarter, a shadow took over
What's done is gone and you can't win death over.

Cold ice and glass marbles
No longer a model but no longer fragile
with whispers near and far
Lust for pitiful pleasures
For the only thing I can only yearn for is my value is higher than a penny's worth.

Mirror, Mirror
Play it over
Look back in the days
Look back during the craze
This phase, that maze
Through the laze and the lines
Just one last time.

Please tell its bronze story
Full of junk, hypocrisy and blasphemy
like a jingle in a jukebox
cheap and too old for even a mother to appreciate
With the insert of a dime or a nickel
Some malicious dream which seemed fickle
Drives me to watch before the rope pulls.

Give one smile, take a frown
Show a new world, take it all down
Then archive a forever for worse or for better
No chance to write one last letter
Now let's watch and see as you breathe in beautiful krypton
Only to see data lost, game gone
With memory full, computer freeze
You waited too long and I escaped the ties
Just so I could keep the wish by pulling the trigger.

Acorn Miracles

So It's December! Formal is coming around and my friend Kevin asked me to do him a favor. To make him an plush acorn the size of my hand. I was only given 2 days, so I charged him $15 for it. A movie ticket and $5 that I used for lunch money. Hehe. Below are pictures!

I am happy though that with this little bundle of what not...Kevin got the girl! She said yes and they're heading to formal together (woohoo formal 2013!!). That's a step forward after a good 3 years of hard work. I told ya' Kev!

Japanese Exchange Students 2012

On both Monday and Tuesday, we had a couple of Japanese Exchange Students come over and present to us about their school and the history of Japan. It was fairly fun, all of us didn't know how to communicate with them very well...but it was the funnest. I made a couple of acquaintances and I'm fairly happy about that.

This is what I got as a present from one of the girls.

The 'meishi' I had given a couple of them.

A couple of guys singing(?) at our school during lunch.

Pictures!

Lastly a fan as a gift from another one of the students.

They were all so sweet and they're so great to be around. So well behaved but very fun to be around too! Gosh, I really wish I was better at social interaction, but overall, I'm more than happy to have gotten to meet them.
