Nanami Chiaki -- Super Dangan Ronpa 2

NANAMI CHIAKI: Hey,  “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!”
--
So as of late, I've been obsessed with the PSP game Dangan Ronpa:Academy of Hope and High school students of Despair. While the overall is incredibly interesting, I ended up going on to finishing Super Dangan Ronpa 2: Farewell Despair Academy. And that's when this little picture comes in. It's of Super High School Level Gamer, Nanami Chiaki. She's from Super Dangan Ronpa 2. Although this is more of my little way of doodling, nothing too bad right?

Also, apologies for not keeping things updated as nicely as I'd like. I've been busy with obsessions and housework and responsibilities for the upcoming school year extra curricular activities that I'm a part of.

So when people purchased a necklace from me, it contained two sheets of paper and a "logo" sort of. The first paper was a thank you for purchasing and information on what it's made out of and the second was care instructions.

All nice and snug and wonderfully wrapped up in a little bag!

squigglies

Way back when, I had a ton of clay that accidentally got mixed with various of other clays. So I took the liberty of adjusting it to my own preference by adding more colors and having my way with them. Don't they look interesting?

Embroidery Preliminary

Way back in the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, we started working on embroidery and sewing! Now, me being brilliant I took a design I made and just goofed around with it. It isn't anything big, my craftmanship isn't great, but I sure had fun passing time. I guess one of my major problems is that I really like this childish messy look.

My bad, I kind of really like these stitches oops..

International day 2010 & 2011

For the many years I've been here at Whitney (which would be a good number of 4 so far), I've participated in almost every performance Kokoro Kara has had since I got here. Above is the picture taken after we had finished our performance at school for International Day in 2011. It was interesting but also a little...aggravating. KPOP dancing (because it originally came out in Japanese) was interesting...believe it or not. Mr. Taxi by SNSD will always be a thing for me.

As for this one here, in 2010, my seventh grade year, I performed odori, the Japanese traditional dance. Wearing a yukata that is not only a pain to put on but a delight to wear, it was interesting. I thought it was pretty nice...speaking that I didn't have to get all caked up with makeup.

Carpet removal

Hey guys! Sorry for the kind of... Silence. My posts that are queue don't tend to be pretty bland.. But oh well! Well.. We're removing the carpet in my bedroom... And it's so tiresome. Lots of work when it's just you and your siblings because your parent refuses to help you. Heh.

Jane Crocker

Hey all! So guess what I did? That's right I made a picture out of a cake mix box! Not too long ago before this, my mom had me make a Super Moist chocolate cake. So I took the opportunity to make a little 2D image with a 3D twist to it!

Inspired by this picture below! It's of Jane Crocker. Sadly, I can't find the source to the picture...Sigh.

Cotton candy Keychains

So way back when, I made some cotton candy keychains! They were matching between Moses and I.  They're made out of some felt then put into some plastic to keep it together. I had then tied a little bit of ribbon around the ends. Then there are the polymer clay roses and the heart pieces that became a heart.

They came out pretty nice! Also, use glues that make sense. Obviously using a hot glue gun to glue in any eyepins or plastics aren't the best idea for reasons of melting.

Vodka Mutini remake + Preserved flowers

Remember that post a while ago that showed how I made a little felt keychain of vodka mutini from homestuck? Well, I took the liberty of remaking it, except this time I made it out of polymer clay and some acrylic paint! It came out much better than I thought it would, but then again that's not too much of a surprise either.

Another thing that I had really enjoyed was preserving (?) some flowers. By holding them upside down and leaving it alone like that for a while, you can get the flower to stay the way it is while you wait for it to dry up. I've always found it to be really lovely and sweet.

Kind of like this candy.

Oh my! Monday's madness

Hey guys! So I'm just going to be showing off what things we got from Michael's on Monday!

Monday madness (Part 3)

Well, we all managed to get back in one piece!

From which we started eating the lunch that Reis made for us!

pastry closeups

Remember way back when I made that little bakery for a contest? Well, I don't remember if I uploaded these closeups or not. So, I present them to you right now. The left cake is supposed to be a mocha chocolate cake with frosting and cherries on top. As for the right, it's supposed to be a mango cake with frosting and toppings such as a coffee bean, blueberries, cherries, mango, and a chocolate heart.

I've never been prouder of anything in my life to be quite honest!

Jokes and References

Well I thought it was pretty funny that these were around and about when I was back at school.

And then all these little bits and pieces were pretty exciting too..

I really like how it looks...but maybe it really is just me?

Pucca figurine

Long, long ago on a day somewhat similar to this one. I took the time to make something that Bianca had asked me to make for a while now. In which I made the above! It's Pucca from a television animation that we used to watch all the time as kids. We found it to be the most enjoyable and so to this day, I really enjoy watching it. Sometimes for nostalgia, most of the time as a guilty pleasure. So I took the liberty of making it out of polymer clay. After making and baking the overall parts of the figure, I made colors similar to the clays out of acrylic paint and touched it up and drew on the facial features. It's still my favorite to this day!

Monday Mania (part 1)

Hey guys! well I'm going to start off this post saying that I had a pretty nice time hanging out with the gang! Melissa, Bianca, Moses, and Reis all came over today.

(Read the rest of this bundle under the cut!)

Kokoro kara Juice it up! food night

The title says exactly what it is! (And I think my friends are the goofiest jokers ever that's not even funny guys because that's my smoothie excuse you)

Kokoro Kara, Whitney High School's Japanese club, had a fundraiser at Juice it up! in Cerritos Town Center.

So of course I'd go with these lovely kids!

And my depressed looking lil' brother!

And then we bought from tapioca express

It was great

I think.
