Registration Day!

Maybe one day he'll look like he's enjoying something. We went to Paris Baguette after registration because I was hungry and we were getting food for the lame-o APUSH group with Bianca in it too.

Lanto's Birthday Party!

Melissa's birthday! I don't really know what to say but I"ll just post this here because I had a lot of fun and she was stunning and amazing and I love her. A+ best friend will go again (sorry I have crummy presents).

2 days and Graduation + Fashion Artsies (#/。\#)

SO I had thought that I made posts about these photos already, but it turns out that I haven't...or I somehow lost it and suck at finding them..but oh well. But here we go. The next bundle of pictures you will see are all from the two days and graduation day from last year.

A Jumble of things

Pardon this awkward post, this is just a little collaboration of pictures...that I find necessary to kind of .. keep...
oddly enough.

But really, I love having these! This was $8 at Ross and they tend to be very nice and handy for storing things in a very fashionable way or to keep and use for crafty things.

And then in the meantime I'll mention how I'm making hair accessories out of the odd little chalk pieces that you find used up when they get too small!

And this keychain from another country that I got as a prize for International day 2013.

To be honest it reminds me of the Philippines!

Caricatures @ Open Mic Night (Midnight Blues)

Hey guys! Does anyone remember my caricatures from Midnight Blues? The band had a fundraiser and our wonderful leadership put it together.

I had my own little table and everything for them too!

It looks pretty rad if you ask me...but that's just me.

I tested the caricatures on many of my friends too! I developed two styles: a personal chibi style and an actual caricature version.

We made $32 that night off of tips ALONE! Thanks guys! Most of this was donated to the band, thank you so much!

A panel redraw from the webcomic Homestuck by Andrew Hussie.

Way back when, the joke among the fans for Homestuck was to pretend that there was an anime for Homestuck and to redraw the panels in their own art styles. Here I present to you my own.

Original panel can be seen here.

Angel's Kiss

So when push comes to shove, I kind of just pull a laarnie and have other people help me out. I ran out of ideas and so I asked my brother-friend Kevin to give me an alcoholic drink to draw. He said Angel's Kiss.

Now although the actual drawing is kind of derpy (insert jokes about everything wrong with this) this is just a little doodle and design of the actual drink. It's a basic dress with a see through shawl and all that jazz. In my opinion, it's not too bad...I kind of like it.

Pillows and Pouches alike

Welp! Hey guys! So I'm here to fill you all in with a little bit of detail of what this is. These are the front (above) and the back (below) designs of the felt pouch that I made last year for one of my 3D art assignments. The above says "I'd love to BEE with you but I guess I have to RAM into you first" which is an allusion to my favorite couple from Homestuck.

Whereas for this side, I present to you a pocket and a pair of mochi bunnies along with a couple of stitching of my name and the Japanese expression " あいしてるよ。” which should translate to "You know, I love you." (Technically "I love you you know.")

The pouch has beads that I made out of polymer clay and a whole bunch of fun little tidbits that I really liked.

Below we have a couple of group pictures! The pillows match with the pouches!

Laarnie B., Bhavi T., Priyanka S., and Michelle Y.

I miss my 2013 seniors

Above are the backs and below are the fronts!

Bonus: Flash pic (not really a bonus if you ask me)

Sex on the Beach

Now we all know of the alcoholic drink called Sex on the Beach. So I just took the time to design a little persona based on the drink! Nothing too interesting, but I damn well do enjoy how it came out! My doodles are pretty interesting if I do say so myself.

Family bonding

Usually involves us all ending up at Denny's.

Gin Fizz

SO the next drink that the butterfly recommended I do was gin fizz. He gave me the three flavors, Peach, Watermelon and Strawberry. I was supposed to choose one, like any normal person would. But then again, I'm not your average cup of tea. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm a cup of coffee.

But going back to topic, I took the liberty of testing out my designs, having them all fairly similar to one another while also tampering with art styles because not everyone is the same. So why not have a little fun with differences!

Welp, In the end I am pretty happy of this. It came out fairly nice for something I spent a couple of hours on.

Karyn's pies!

My sister has really cool friends and one of them just so happens to be a fashion design student who makes awesome baked goods! Right now it's just some pies (that unfortunately our dog ate all of) and they were pretty great!

I have no idea what this is I was assuming chocolate raisins.

And this one is apple pie!

They tasted pretty rad. I hope I can be as cool as my sister and her friends one day!

Pineapple Sunrise

Something that I've started to do was I've started designing outfits and personas for certain alcoholic drinks. Here I present to you my first design for a pineapple sunrise (although I wrote surprise accidentally ehehe)!

The butterfly is currently in Hawaii but that doesn't stop me from making him tell me what to doodle draw next woohoo

Presents!

So remember way back when we had the little get together at my house? Bianca was such a babe and bought me some things at the Japanese $1.50 store Daiso!!

She bought me some salmon pink  paper clay!

Along with a mint green paper clay that was a very nice color in person!

And a squishy chocolate scented bread bear phone charm!

(Squish)

(Technically this is the name hahaha)

And she also bought me some needle felting supplies! Wool roving and some fine and coarse needles!!

And then I'll just end the post here saying how Reis spent a good number of hours (I'm assuming hours) folding white paper into roses...

And hot glued them to flower stems...

As he gave them to me as a bouquet of paper roses...

My friends are such adorable people! They're the absolute best.
