Marshmallow Cat || Amy's present

After Amy came back from Japan, she had brought me back some decopaint to use! I'll post pictures of those later (unless I already have...then nevermind). I thought it woul dbe nice to test it out so I made a little cat figure using paper clay from Daiso and used brown tulip brand 3D paint. Although I didn't like how my little test originally went, so I went through the felt scraps box that Mrs. Sposa has in her room and put on a little scarf.

I feel like that made it much cuter than the previous outcome above...

Cake + Matcha Tea Latte + Chipotle (Jeremy's pick)

One of the many reasons as to why I have great friends is because everyone spoils me in every great way possible.

Reis brought me a cake uvu

And then I had this really awesome matcha tea latte and Jeremy picked what I was going to eat from Chipotle! Although the fun part was how he managed to find an area of "too spicy". But I don't mind. I don't mind at all uvu

Hand Dyed Yarn!! (Winded Balls, not skeins this time!)

One of the requirements for our art assignment was to make sure that all of our hand dyed yarns were in winded balls instead of skeins! Isn't this a beauty?

Because I think it sure is pretty good for a (sorta) first time for me!

BP Fashion board || Another day

Just another one of those days..

My group was really sweet and dressed me up though!! I was so happy ahh u///u

Free Fridays || Nail painting 。⊡ㅂ⊡)ノ

Not too long ago, before swim started and we all had a ton of time leftover after school on the usual Fridays, Melissa wanted to paint my nails! I decided I would let her and she painted every other nail maroon and the other would be a nice and sweet, cherry red.

She then took a nail polish pen of some sort and wrote some hiragana along my nails.

I honestly think that it's one of the prettiest things that I've had on my nails...well excluding the cake ones. Those were kind of awesome.

If you're wondering, it says 「あいしてる まさとくん」。

And while we're on this topic, I might as well leave this picture of Melissa and I painting Reis's nails teal, bright red, and magenta pink.

No Sew Dino Fleece Blanket!

Finally finished!

For two years, my family had decided that they were going to buy those "no sew fleece blanket" (sort of) kits and have me make it but it wasn't until just recently that my mom finally gave me back the red side of the blanket to turn it into the beauty that it is....

a wonderful dino fleece blanket with everything perfect that is dinosaur and candy cane peppermint colored!! It took a total of 4 hours (while watching Battle Royale and Year 300) and the set I believe was around $12 because it was from an older batch at the time.

Mamegoma seal!!

Super cute!

Stocking Paint Test (Spoiler alert: it was a dud)

I wanted to make some stockings with a design on them and I was really interested in how they'd look but...unfortunately my dog managed to smear everything (I was the only one home at the time) and then got everything covered in paint..

Sanrio Store adventures!

The Sanrio store is one of the best things that exist...

Cerritos Mall! Coincidences? I think not.

Long story short, I went to the mall with some friends and ended up running into more! It was really fun. I went to the sanrio store and bought lots of candy and snacks and then to Paris Baguette and then Mongolian BBQ because that's just the beauty of life. After the read more are just pictures and closeup detailed shots that I've grown too lazy to take care of as I'm 140 drafts away from back to speed.

Molaa * Museum of Latin American Art

There's not going to be very much commentary on this post as I'd like there to be, but that doesn't really matter to me...hahh.. On another note have you seen my awesome new alpaca scarffff. My sister bought me the best scarf ever ahh.
On another note my sister also had bought me this really cool bread keychain ahh uvu

Decoden (Cold water box)

Similarly to the previous box, I made this box using decoden and some cabochons (two were ice cream erasers and a dolphin eraser from daiso and the other being from when I went out to the arcade with my little group of friends... and the other is a resin cabochon that I bought from Kevin Tang).

I used some beads and made the extra bits out of polymer clay that I hadn't used yet. To make the frosting I mixed elmer's glue and some blue paper clay that I got from Daiso Japan.

Geometry Project || Jake the Dinosaur

My brother's geometry project was to create a 3D model made out of various 3D figures! And with me being who I am, I felt the need to help my little brother out (that and I owed him for the fact that each time I helped him with something, I wouldn't be able to help him unless I knew it myself).

In the end, he decided he was going to make a dinosaur that you could hang! We went to the store and bought some acrylic paint, cardboard, and brushes for his little project.

Lakewood Mall! (≚ᄌ≚)ℒℴѵℯ❤

Winter Formal shopping & Makeup testing || Unique Vintage

Although I didn't personally go to Winter formal, our little group went to help Lizzy help her get hers!

The shop as full of the cutest dresses and even Ben managed to find something that he liked on himself!

But he and I both knew that these clothes were worth more than ourselves...

And in the process, Anne found a couple of dresses that she wanted to get too. I thought that all the clothes (including the sweet pin up shorts she picked) were adorable! Although the shop had a specific rule of no cameras or pictures being allowed in the dressing room...so that was unfortunate.

In case anyone was wondering, we went to Unique Vintage in Burbank, California. The shop is a beauty and I love it, although every dress was more expensive than the last and it killed me inside knowing how poor and empty my wallet proved me to be.

But in the meantime, because Ben wasn't allowed into the dressing rooms due to him being born as a male, we goofed around the store with the tester makeup set and I even got to keep this cute post card for trying!

I'll be putting the actual makeup portions after the read more because the pictures unfortunately got damaged when my SD card malfunctioned and I was in the process of copying them at the time...Just my luck right?

Uh...

Boredom comes in all shapes and sizes..

But boredom is a different story when you end up with a poorly crocheted cape for your index finger.

That's when you know you might've lost some of your senses..

Food || Royal Pudding + Girl Scout Cookies (Trefoils) + Butter Beer + Candy!

The best part about life is having people in it that are caring for you and provide you food and love and care.

Melissa's Birthday Gift! || Motoko Logo (ٛ₌டுͩ ˑ̭ டுͩٛ₌)ฅ

Unfortunately, I'll be very behind on all of my posts. Once the year had started, it has become a lot harder to maintain posts once my queue had ran out. School has become so exhausting and life at home doesn't make it any better. In fact, it might be a little worse...so I guess you can't really help that. This little (awful and poorly made)pillow was something that I made for Melissa's birthday!

I had hand stitched everything and cut out all the pieces to imitate the t-shirt design of Motoko Tachibana from the anime Free! Iwatobi High School (although everyone knows the name of that anime is the swimming anime). I tried my best to make it look similar to the design...but I don't believe I managed to accomplish that either..

Decoden boxes! (Warm eatables)

So not too long ago, Kevin Tang had wanted to have a little decoden party during the summer and I offered up my house because I would then be given free supplies too which was super rad! I was really fond of how this box came out because it was such a lovely combination of colors and I love warm color schemes and food put on top of that just made everything so much better.

Other than the erasers that were bought from Daiso Japan to be used as cabochons, I have some resin cabochons that Kevin tang had bought over. The "whipped cream" is made out of a paper clay and elmer's glue mixture and it works very well for the most part. I had then glazed over the entire piece using triple thick (which now I regret for using on my other box...but what can you do?)

If you're interested in seeing the box before I had changed the look of the box's handle (it was originally blue if you cannot tell but I had wrapped some embroidery floss around the handle and glued it down as I went to keep it in place). Also, if you have some spare time could you please "like" my entry for a contest (that is if you like it and all)? Here's the link uvu!
