Lazy Days ; Busy Crazes

Hey guys! Here are just some photos from the past couple of days. I didn't have the ability to actually keep them altogether or anything because of how things have been (hectic and all y'know?) and so that's just...how it came to be...?

Corsage & Boutonniere making

So the other day I had made a corsage and a boutonniere for myself and Reis for winter formal pictures. Because although I really wanted to go to the dance, we didn't have enough money for it in our budget. And of course, we probably didn't have enough money to buy these fun things either...so I made them myself. 

I made them using flower wire, gold wire, gold ribbon, gold nail polish, some clear beads, and the fake flowers that I had gotten from Joann's a little while ago.

Coil pot!

Hey guys! Here's just some pictures of my coil pot~ 

It's supposed to have a knitted look to it and all that fun stuff. There are swirls and spirals and all sorts of things like that. 

 Not to mention the octopus on top.

The form is rather interesting as it had completely ran off of my design that I had that you can see in a different post. Oh did you see the fossil stamp (it was really just a fossil but haha, you know how these things work...)

Earhoox!

Melissa had gotten me these a while back and while we have been waiting for them for a while now, it's rather incredible at how interesting and nice they are. Although....I have to be honest that these weren't all that great? I had a hard time understanding how to put them on and when I did it turned out that they weren't that great after all...not as helpful as I had originally hoped for them to be. Oh well...just a heads up to not actually pay completely for them after all. 

TV Head Progress!!

So here's how the TV (computer screen) head is coming along~ This is after all the fun stuff that Lorenzo had done which I'm incredibly thankful for. Now all Heather and I gotta do is some this and that and fixing things up....sigh.... Just gotta wait until later to fix everything up though...

Places to be & Places to go (Supplies shopping)

So a little while ago I had to do some errands to get some items for everything and I came across some of the cutest things!! 

These were incredibly cute and I plan on getting one when I have the funds to try out! They look super cute.

These were just the cutest things! We had gone next door to the 99 ranch market and these were some of the sweet bowls that appeared next to the cat bowl that I'll show you all sometime soon.

And this is a sweet shirt that Bianca and I had found when we were browsing around Plato's closet and then below we have a really sweet looking stitched patch-like look!

DIY Kool aid Lipbalm !

 So the other day, Arts2Cure had a very interesting activity where we all made lip balm using petroleum jelly and kool aid.

And I have to say, it was a rather interesting making it! It was incredibly fun to make. All we did was microwave the jelly for a while until it had a liquid form as it was easier to mix it the kool aid and all that fun stuff.  

I stirred it a little at a time and this is how mine ended up looking~!

Updates

Just a little update on everything, I auditioned for honor band again this year and din't make it in...but I have a lot to really say about it I guess. I was tested on a lot of things that I found weren't important so I didn't care enough to try to practice it all that much but it can't be helped. I felt a little cheated out of my audition but ehh, it's not that important. I just have to practice for band now...sigh.

As for my photography class, our assignment is to photoshop an old photo of ourselves into a new photo of ourselves and here's a little shot of my picture's here and there place.

And I'm finally on the pathway of making/finishing my wayfarer wanderbook! If I could ever really figure out what I'm doing...that is...
