The Curious Savage [Final Shots]

Thank you to everyone who had came to the play! It means a whole lot that you all had come out to watch. I hope you enjoyed it. We had been working our hardest to make sure that the show goes along swimmingly. Thank you all!

Knit headpiece

Remember that yarn that I had spun up a while back? The one that Kaili and Bianca had also spun up too? I had finally gotten around to knitting something with it and I decided it was going to be a little headband. It's not exactly cold enough to cover my entire head, but when I find the need to cover my ears with something I think I'd find a use for this.

New phone, new case!

Hey guys! As you all know, I had recently gotten an iPhone 5c from my sister as a gift because the phone that she had originally given me was cracked as it was her old one but because of the change, I needed a new case.

The case that we had ended up getting was this wonderful otterbox case from their symmetry line! It's in a wonderful green and I absolutely love it. In any other case it could have dropped several times when people had knocked it out of my hands these past few days but thanks to the otterbox it hasn't yet. I'm very happy that I have this case because I really, really needed it and the reviews I had seen online were absolutely wonderful.

Thank you so much Sis!

Stitch Paper quilt [paper progress]

Ahh, them good ol' stitch papers. I have a good number of these, but honestly it's a little hard for me to figure out which ones and how much better I like them.

From afar, the colors are rather extreme but up close, the textures are wonderful....I just don't know what I like anymore...

Shadows

Hey guys! So here's a wonderful picture that Sharon had taken of me when we were trying to take shadow shots! Although the shot wasn't exactly the best it could be, it was really nice to have nonetheless. Sharon actually ended up using a different photo because that photo met the requirements much better than this one, but this one was more interesting to my eye and so I wanted to showcase it on my blog! Although, to be fair, this is after some minor photoshop touch ups. If you're interested in seeing the photos that Sharon had used and then grayscaled, follow through the read more!

Spinning

I guess I was going for a minty chocolate bark kind of color scheme...but it could also be because I'm afraid of doing anything else but two ply yarns...

Lap desk

So after a long day of fall play rehearsal, I had come home to this interesting little surprise! My mom had purchased a lap desk when she was at the store.
She said she thought of me when she saw it and while we have a lot of problems with each other, I thought it was incredibly thoughtful and sweet of her because I always work by my bedside.

Pogi seems to like the desk too! But for obvious reasons as you can see above.

The desk can lift up and has a latch so that I can choose one of the several angles provided! It's so helpful and interesting. I really, really appreciate it. Especially when I randomly get back pain and need to lay down and work rather than hover over a laptop. Although..to be fair I should and really need to stop slouching. I'm working on it okay?

Overall, I just cannot express how happy I am about this! It's really nice and it's super interesting to use. It also helps me video chat using my iPhone and get work done on my laptop now when I use the setup as you see below.

Eryn's Dyed Shirt

Ah!! As you all know, I absolutely suck at tie dye. It's incredibly hard and in the end, the results that I get just don't suit my fancy. But more recently I had found and old white dress shirt from ways back and I had asked Eryn (who had happily been dyeing t-shirts for a few weeks now) to dye it for me!

And this wonderful, vibrant shirt was the result!

I am absolutely in LOVE with it Eryn! Thank you so,so ,SO MUCH!

Hello Kitty Con!! (;*△*;)

Hey guys! As you all know, I'm a ridiculously huge fan of Sanrio and Hello Kitty and I had been telling you all that I was very interested and even going to the Hello Kitty convention that was happening nearby in Los Angeles.

Although because of some mishaps and problems, I wasn't able to go, but Jewel and many others went and thankfully there were enough pictures that I was able to look at so I could happily enjoy things without really having to do anything.

(That's a joke, don't mind me but Jewel was the one who had gotten me a wonderful headband like the one that you see above in the first picture!! I am forever in her debt)

But here are some wonderful videos that better show you what happened and what the Hello Kitty convention was all about.

Personally, I found it really wonderful to watch and just looking at all of them made me so incredibly happy. I hope that they'll have an event like this again sometime and that I'd be able to go with Reis!

But there were more than just what you see here. If you're interested in seeing a wonderful post filled with amazing photos and a wonderful take on the con from someone who had gone themselves, please see this link: http://www.fafafoom.com/hello-kitty-con-2014-fans-style/#.VHQMRovF-So

Sunsets

So more recently with how late it has been getting due to daylight savings, the sky has been forming the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. An example is of the ones shown here! The one above was taken by Dae Jin a little while after I had taken the ones below.

But aren't they stunning? They're such a sweet and wonderful combination of vivid color!

Stitch Paper Quilt Papers {{Finished}}

Here are the finished shots of all the papers!

What do you guys think? They're actually nice when you have them go against each other...but maybe that's just me...I don't know. This is a very peculiar piece that I'm working on that I am using to allude my love for Princess Jellyfish (Kuragehime くらげひめ) by Higashimura Akiko.
