And for the second post of the day, here's how my coil pot looked before it had gotten fired.
The first glaze is black and then after, I had used the blue glaze for the second and middle color. The top color/last color is the green glaze that I used on the octopus.
I had used a splattering and flicking technique with the ceramic paint brushes to get that splattered and dripping look on the pot. My friend Sameera had done it on one of her pieces and I immediately fell in love with the look of it!
I can't wait to see how it turns out!
