Poppin' Cookin' Candy Sushi

Cheryl Mae had brought one of those famous poppin' cookin' candy sets to school and we all took the time to try it out one fine day afterschool.

To be completely honest with you, it looked very, very easy....but then it turns out..

Everything was in Japanese. Because of that, it took so much energy out of Sophia and I because we spent a lot of time trying to translate the Japanese hiragana to English...and because we hadn't learned specific words yet...it was troublesome and INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING. But thank god for Tony because he managed to figure out because none of us used our brains to look for an English translation of this Poppin' Cookin' Candy Sushi set online.

But this thing. This fake tuna sushi and the roe sushi and the egg sushi....it's all ridiculously awful in flavor. Ms. Machado constantly walked past us laughing and wondering why a bunch of small children were gathered in a part of the hallway screaming and crying in agony and despair because it's school and it was the second day of school, what could have gone wrong at this point?

Well, long story longer, she laughed at us and the majority of us (there was about 10 of us trying to figure out this thing before Tony pulled out the English instructions), after we finished making the gummy sushi parts, started crying out in complete pain and despair because after all this hard work...the sushi tasted like crap. I definitely would not recommend it...but we all joined together and spent so much time and effort on it and then Cheryl Mae spend her hard earned money on it and so....in the end....we all left school that day with an awful taste in our mouths from an overdose in artificial flavoring and tears in our eyes from crying and cracking up because we had such a hard time figuring it out and just threw it at each other to (not literally threw) get everyone who helped taste it at least once to understand how much time was wasted because of this ridiculous thing.
