For my art class, we were given an assignment of making felt balls. At first we were given bags full of wool roving and what my teacher called "sprinkles" which were pieces yarn and bits of colored wool roving.
Then we had to expand the wool roving into big large balls of fluff. Mine looks a puppy.
Here's a closeup of the random bits and pieces that were given to me, also known as sprinkles. Below are my partner Reis's sprinkles which were darker.
Then we were instructed to put the random sprinkles onto the ball of fluff.
And then we were told to put the balls into nylon pouches.
(Which were just pantyhose)
