In my 3D beginning art class, we're working on shibori. A Japanese type of tie dye. It's where you use thread and you stitch your design and then you pull the threads to cause a resist. We use an indigo dye.

In the end, the demo came out looking as above. My opinion of the demo was that it looks pretty similar to dental x-rays... Creepy! But very nice to look at. The resist in a couple of them were nice, and others...weren't that great. Currently working on my actual piece right now...I hope it'll look okay!
