My mother had asked me to make some food and instructed me on how to do so. In which I made tempura. It was of Banh toduong phen (?) or Sweet New Year's cake which can be seen below.
I had cut it up into cubes so that it'd be easier for frying.

Pretty interesting.
In the end, I started frying some carrots. I think both were delicious! I was a happy camper knowing that I didn't burn anything or injure anyone.
